Deskview is an application which helps you view RSS feed from your desktop PC. It requires no extra hardware and is compatible with all versions of Windows. The software comes as a freeware and is simple to download. The only thing required to use Deskview is to have a PC with a sound card.
You can start Deskview by clicking on the link provided on the homepage of the software. Once you click on the icon, Deskview will display a number of feeds that are available on your computer system. To see what the available feeds are, simply click on the name of the feed. If you want to add another feed, just double click on the one you wish to add. After the add new feed button is clicked, a new window will be displayed and will contain a number of fields to enter the feed name and the URL of the feed.
To access these feeds, simply click on the desktop icon of the deskview and the list of feeds will appear on your screen. You will find all types of RSS and Atom feeds in Deskview. To check out what has been added to your desktop, click on the add new feed button. Now that you have the list of available feeds in your desktop, double click on one of them to open the feed. You will be able to check out the information contained in the feed to view the various categories that are available in the feed.
